Our Process

Step 1 – Request an Obligation-Free Quote

Contact us to discuss your requirements.  You can call us, send us an email or complete the online form.

Step 2 – Consultation and Site Visit

Our team members are very creative and will come to site to discuss the different options available to suit both your budget and your ideas for design.  They will take measurements and also come equipped with the different samples across the range of suppliers we recommend.

Step 3 – Quotation with Breakdown of Costs

We will provide you with a quotation with a full breakdown so there are no hidden costs.  This will allow you to upgrade or downgrade materials and or design to suit your budget if necessary.

Step 4 – 3D Digital Design on Request

If required, our team of professional architects will provide you with a 3D digital model of your new composite decking project.  This will allow you to start visualising how this will look and give you the opportunity to refine any elements to the project.  This is typically used for larger and more complex decking projects.

Step 5 – Quotation Approval

When the quotation has been approved, we will discuss the timeline with you and schedule the work in. 

Step 6 – Materials & Plant Hire

Shortly before the project starts, we would order the materials to be delivered to site along with any plant hire such as skips or diggers etc if these are required.

Step 7 – Preparation on Site

We’ll clear the area where your new decking will be located and remove any existing materials if required, ensuring that we avoid any underground cables and pipes and making sure this area is ready to support your chosen subframe.

Step 8 – Build Subframe

At this stage we would install a good quality weed membrane with strong fixings and build your weather resistant sturdy subframe which will support your new composite decking for many years.

Step 9 – Build the Decking & Additional Extras

We would build your decking and if your project includes any lighting, balustrade, steps, manhole covers or access panels/doors for storage then this will all be completed in the timeframe that we had quoted for.  During this stage we will be doing our own quality checks. and also liaising with the customer to for complete satisfaction.

Step 10 – Project Sign Off

We will liaise with the customer to make sure that they’re completely satisfied with the quality of our work and the final result.  We may ask for approval to use the photo’s for our portfolio online and on social media.

Composite decking will last twice as long as timer decking. It is guaranteed for 25 years for residential use.

The warranty periods vary depending on the products used but they range between 15-50 years depending on the supplier.

We wouldn’t install the cheapest composite boards as they won’t last very long.  We only recommend using quality products but there is still scope within the product ranges.  Composite can mean a lot of things as it could be made of Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), Bamboo, Wood & Plastic Composite, Mineral board or Polyurethane fillers.
